FEBRUARY 29, 2008 - DAYTONA BEACH TRIP

Our Daytona Beach Trip in February wasn’t one of the better trips we have taken.  There was a mix-up on the room we were to get plus the weather didn’t cooperate.  It was cold for Florida. I guess we should have planned further south. One day it got up to 70 degrees so I put my bathing suit on and lay out on the beach. The ocean was just too cold to get into. BUT I should say we did still have a nice time with other things we did. Always enjoy good food and we got a lot of reading done and just relaxing away from phones and responsibilities. It was a good time just enjoying each others company. We did do some sightseeing and of course we went to see two lighthouses. You have to ask Wendy about me and lighthouses. Some of the pictures we took are from St. Augustine. That is a great place to visit with a lot of history and good food.
