Today it is 74 degrees; it is the first warm day after a long winter. We just had six inches of snow on Monday and today it is 74-what is up with that? It is great being able to go outside without a jacket. I even hung up a load of sheets and towels on the clothes line outside. Roger got the tractor out and plowed up our vegetable garden. Life does seem to be brighter and gives you the sense of a new beginning as spring approaches. Life is good! We are still visiting with our granddaughter, Annie, once a week. We are enjoying so much seeing all the changes in her as she grows. Of course we think she is the cutest thing on the planet. This week she had another “first” – going to a playground.

We did take a week off and went to Williamsburg. We had not been down there in a couple of years. We use to go every February for Valentine’s Day. We had a very enjoyable & relaxing time and the weather cooperated this time. There is so much history and the feel of the town just makes it come alive as if you were right back in that time period. Roger and I even tackled a 1000 piece puzzle we got from the activities center but didn’t have time to finish it before we had to turn it back it. (only had about 100 pieces left to go).
